Remarkably fluid, smooth, and vibrant on the palate, this medium-bodied Rosso captures the true dark-fruited essence of the variety. Polished, elegant tannins support a rich aromatic profile of wild blackberry, dark cherries, and a touch of savory earth. Youthful, aromatic, and deeply expressive, it offers a compelling option for enthusiasts of complex, terroir-driven northern Italian reds and serves as a superb food wine that pairs beautifully with rich risottos, roasted meats, hearty appetizers, and light game.

Integrated Viticulture focusing on sustainable agriculture with minimal cellar intervention, completely adapted to the specific demands of each vintage. Driven by an artisanal, hands-on ethos, all essential vineyard management—including meticulous winter pruning and the final selection at harvest—is performed entirely by hand to ensure only the highest-quality clusters are selected.
Hand-harvested grapes are immediately 100% destemmed upon arrival at the cellar. The fruit undergoes a gentle prefermentative cold maceration for 48–72 hours to optimize color and aromatic extraction, followed by fermentation in stainless steel tanks at 22–24°C. After a precise 7-day maceration period, the juice is racked. The wine completes malolactic fermentation entirely in stainless steel, followed by aging on the fine lees in stainless steel tanks for a minimum of 6 months to refine its structure while preserving its vibrant varietal purity.

Veneto Italy
The 2022 growing season was defined by an historic, record-breaking summer drought and extreme heatwaves that put intense water stress on the vines. Crucial, heavy thunderstorms arrived in mid-August, rescuing the vintage by reactivating the vines and allowing the fruit to complete its maturation safely. A sharp drop in temperature during September brought wide diurnal shifts and cool nights, which successfully preserved vital acidities and high-toned aromatics in the grapes. The resulting wines are remarkably balanced and concentrated, offering highly expressive, fresh whites alongside powerful, structured reds that retain a beautiful, savory energy.

The estate vineyards are located in the small commune of Bovolenta, inside the southern province of Padua along the alluvial banks of the Bacchiglione River.

Clay-rich soils heavily interspersed with marine shell fossils dating back to the Pliocene era (5.3 million years ago), situated within the historic, low-lying plains of the Veneto region. This ancient seabed topography provides an exceptional mineral foundation, forcing deep root systems to yield concentrated fruit with a distinct, savory undercurrent that balances the naturally robust character of the grape.
