"Gajard" in our dialect means “vigorous and exuberant”, just like the personality of this wine with its intense color, a red as straightforward as the earth from which it springs, rich in aromas of freshly picked red fruit. On the palate, the freshness perfectly expresses the identity of the grape variety.

The 2021 vintage in Monferrato is being hailed as a classic, outstanding year characterized by a cold winter and a long, dry growing season. Despite a late spring frost that naturally reduced yields, a warm and steady summer allowed for slow, even ripening through September. The resulting wines, particularly Barbera and Freisa, show remarkable structural balance, vibrant acidity, and deep color concentration.
