2016 was a very challenging vintage for Chablis. The winter was very warm (last time was in 1900). It didn't allowed the plants to rest much. The flowers appeared early. Unfortunately, it snowed the 26th of April. The frost took away a good portion of the buds. It was then followed by heavy humid temperature that created conditions for fungus such as Mildew to appear. That took away another portion of the clusters. Luckily, the consistent warm summer brought a natural concentration of what was left. A vintage were quality prevailed over quantity.
