Our winemaking begins with hand-harvested grapes. Alcoholic fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks, with manual pump-overs performed twice daily. The wine is then aged for nine months in cement tanks, allowing for gentle maturation

The 2023 Perugia vintage was defined by an exceptionally wet spring followed by an intense summer heatwave, requiring meticulous vineyard management to combat high mildew pressure. These conditions naturally thinned yields, resulting in wines with a riper fruit profile of dark plum and blackberry. Despite the lower quantity, the remaining fruit achieved excellent phenolic ripeness, producing structured wines with firm tannins and resilient acidity.
