Color: deep garnet with a clear rim, with a blood-like viscosity. Strong aromas coming out of the glass of red berries, rippened plums, figues, violet, subtile mineral notes of graphite. Very refined elegant integrated flavors of earth mineral, rippened dark plums, red beets, cranberry, lingonberry, red and blue berries. Youthful, vivid, yet elegant acidity that is a testomy of a very long aging potential. A fantastic price for the region. Only Celerier's Cellar sells their Grand Cru in the USA.

2016 was an ideal vintage for the Right bank that was even more concentrated than 2015. Winter was cool enough to let the plant rest. The spring didn't present any threat to the buds and flowers thanks to a cool and low hidity climate. The summer increased maturity at a faster pace than 2015 thanks to the last really 10 days before harvest. Fruits were even more concentrated with high potentiality. It gives the opportunity to push to fermentation even further than usual to bring a fantastic quality and aging potential to an already great estate.
